Cobb is a suburban county that is Atlanta’s fourth most populous, with an estimated population of nearly 690,000 residents. The county used to be part of a large Cherokee territory before it was founded on December 2, 1832, following an act by the Georgia General Assembly. Cobb occupies a total area of 345 square miles. Its largest city is Marietta, which also serves as its county seat.

Families can also spend fun-filled days at Six Flags Over Georgia, a 290-acre theme park filled with numerous rides that include truly heart-stopping roller coasters such as the Superman, the Great American Scream Machine, and the Goliath. In addition to the rides, guests can enjoy entertaining performances by popular Warner Brothers Studios characters such as Bugs Bunny, Daffy Duck, and the Tazmanian Devil, as well as parades at the park’s main street. Included in the park is Six Flags Hurricane Harbor Georgia, a water park that features a multi-slide complex, wave pool, kids area, and bowl slides.
